Volunteering to help with the tasks of running IWM is an invaluable form of dana, or generosity. Moreover, it is an important component of building community and a great way to meet others. Most of the work – from watering the plants to hosting events to serving on committees or the board of directors to cleaning to providing administrative and tech support is done by volunteers. The dedication of our volunteers is a precious offering that makes the teachings accessible to many.

Zoom, In-person & Hybrid Hosts
Hosts are needed for all courses, retreats and dharma talks. The host welcomes participants and creates and holds a comfortable space for teachers and participants.
Programming Committee
The Programming Committee is a volunteer group of teachers, Board member(s), and sangha (IWM community) members. The Committee reaches out to local and guest teachers to create IWM’s schedule of courses, retreats, and dharma talks. For more information, email programming@insightwma.org.
