These ongoing, practice-centered gatherings support consistency, connection, and deepening meditation in community. All are open and welcoming to practitioners of any experience level.
Social Justice Practice Group
A space to practice mindfulness and compassion while reflecting on how the Dharma supports wise action in the world. This group centers meditation first, with room for shared inquiry around justice, care and community.
Tuesday Sangha
A weekly, in person only drop-in meditation group, open to all. We will take up a theme each month and explore it through practice, short dharma offerings, and discussion.
Saturday Sangha
A weekly gathering incorporating a mix of practice formats and social time. While the practices are offered with children, families, and newcomers in mind, everyone is warmly invited to join.
Practice leader-led sessions on Monday evenings include meditation practice, a brief talk on a specific topic and a group discussion. Tuesday mornings are peer led; Thursday mornings are led by a practice leader. Both Tuesday and Thursday sessions are followed by an optional social time.
All of these open community practice sessions are drop-ins. They are a good place to start exploring IWM if you are just joining our community. The Monday night sessions, which usually include two per month on Zoom and two in person at our center, are particularly good for that. The Practice Leader that night looks out for new folks and offers some suggestions and information if desired.
